Kinders Mill Day Nursery is registered with Hertfordshire County Council as a provider of free nursery education during term time for children of three and four years old.

As a provider of pre-school education, we are subject to OFSTED education inspections. The outcome of the latest report dated November 2005 stated:

"The quality and standards of the care is good."

"The quality and standards of the nursery education is good."

• small groups ensuring individual attention for your child.
• daily notes which outline the day's activities.
• regular written progress reports followed by...
• Parents' Consultation Meetings when progress and any other concerns can be raised with staff.
• weekly music and swimming sessions and French lessons (subject to availability).
• Weekly P.E. lessons and regular access to our indoor play structure.
• Outings to local outdoor facilities and the local community in our minibus.
  

We are able to offer these daily sessions which last for two and a half hours in conjunction with part-time or full day care. There are also a limited number of spaces for our pre-school class which may be taken exclusive of day care. In this case the sessions cost is covered in full by the Nursery Education Grant.
